Meet Jordan
I’ve always been fascinated by what makes us human.
Not just how we heal or grow, but how we make meaning. Why we tell the stories we do. What happens when those stories stop making sense. How we find our way through uncertainty without pretending to have all the answers.
That curiosity has shaped nearly every chapter of my life.
For years, I worked behind a salon chair. Looking back, I realize I wasn't simply cutting hair. I was sitting with people through breakups, new beginnings, grief, celebrations, identity shifts, and the quiet questions that rarely found a place anywhere else. I learned that transformation often begins long before anything changes on the outside. It begins when someone feels deeply seen.
That lesson never left me.
Over time, my path expanded into contemplative practice, philosophy, psychology, nervous system awareness, and spiritual direction. Not because I was searching for another system to believe in, but because I wanted to better understand what it means to live a meaningful life.
Along the way, I experienced my own seasons of questioning. I know what it's like when certainty falls apart. I know what it's like to outgrow old beliefs before new ones have taken shape. I know what it's like to stand in the space between who you've been and who you're becoming.
Those experiences didn't give me answers.
They taught me how to stay with the questions.
Today, I practice non-religious spiritual direction through the lens of existential health. My work isn't about giving people certainty or becoming an authority on their lives. It's about creating space for honest conversation, deep listening, and the slow discovery of meaning that can only come from within.
I believe our deepest questions deserve our attention—not because they can always be solved, but because they invite us into a more honest relationship with ourselves, with others, and with life itself.
Outside of my work, I'm continually drawn back to ordinary things—the way light pours through a window, the way grasses bend in the Kansas wind, long walks, good coffee, beautiful design, thoughtful books, and conversations that linger long after they've ended.
Those small moments remind me that meaning is rarely found by trying harder.
More often, it's discovered by paying closer attention.
That's the heart of holo.bone.
A place where curiosity is protected, uncertainty isn't something to fear, and becoming more deeply human matters more than becoming more certain.
